The Teaching Excellence in Entomology Certificate is a graduate program which aims to enhance professional development in teaching for those progressing for careers in academia, extension, or science communication for students in entomology and related fields. Students may complete the program over the course of their graduate degrees and the certificate will include opportunities for teaching courses, course development, and design. Teaching SeminarsTeaching seminars will be offered once a semester and will cover the fundamentals of course development strategy. These seminars represent the core curriculum of the program. Check back for upcoming dates for the following seminars:

Upcoming Departmental LecturesAs a final project, students will give one 30 minute mock lecture for a course of their choice to the department for feedback. Check back for upcoming scheduled teaching seminars by students in the program.
